AGbA™ compliance
Meeting the criteria required by our organisation gives a manufacturer the right to use the AGbA™ certified logo as well as the AGbA™ mark of authenticity on every product. These may in turn be used by companies supplied by the manufacturer. The logo and mark testify to the authenticity of the raw Baltic amber material, correctness of the processing method, the good quality of the entire product, as well as to the company's reliability. It is therefore a protection against forgeries and substitutes. Certification is provided on a case by case basis.
Mark of Authenticity
Once certified, the manufacturer will be eligible to utilize the AGbA™ mark of authenticity on Baltic amber products. The mark is an authenticity label containing a unique serial number tied specifically to that product. This serial number will be traceable back to the manufacturer once sold to wholesalers and ultimately consumers. The mark of authenticity increases the confidence of wholesalers and consumers in purchasing your product.
Are you a wholesaler or retailer?
Only manufacturers can be certified with AGbA™. As a wholesaler or retailer you can take advantage of AGbA™ compliance and the mark of authenticity by purchasing from one of our existing certified suppliers. By purchasing from an existing certified supplier, you will be added to the list of certified retailers on www.agbaamber.com and with express permission may have the right to use the AGbA™ certified logo as well as the AGbA™ mark of authenticity. If you have an existing manufacturer, you can support them in becoming certified with AGbA™.
